Terms and Conditions
*Please be sure to read the Terms and Conditions of the tour before making a payment.
This Terms and Conditions form part of the contract document in the event that a travel contract is concluded.
1. General
These Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between the tour operator YuYu Tours (hereafter “YT”) and the tour participants as well as third parties booking tours for tour participants or acting as agents for tours (hereafter “Customer(s)”) for all services provided by YT.
YT considers that the Customers have agreed to this Terms and Conditions upon applying the Tours.
2. Definition of Tour
The Tour(s) refer to the tourist guide services that the Customers apply for via this Website (https://yuyutours.com) and other distribution channels (internet, travel agency, hotel, tourist information, etc.) by telephone, e-mail, fax or in person.
3. Tour Fees and Terms of Payment
The Tour fee per person is stated the price list in Japanese Yen. All fees are quoted including consumption tax.
Customers are required to make full payment for the tour fee at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time of the Tour.
Failure to make payment by the specified deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.
For reservations made within 24 hours of the tour date, the booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of the full Tour fee.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and changes in bookings (i.e. any change in the Tour, in the number of Customers or in the Tour date) must be made in writing via email or the Website and are legally binding upon confirmation by YT.
In case of cancellation the following cancellation fees apply:
| 24 hours or more prior to the meeting time of the Tour | You will only be responsible for the various fees related to refunds, if any. |
| 12 hours before the meeting time of the Tour | 20% of Tour fee |
| After the meeting time of the meeting time of the Tour | 100% of Tour fee |
5. No-show Policy
If Customers fail to arrive at the designated meeting place within 90 minutes after the scheduled meeting time on the day of the tour, the Tour reservation will be automatically considered a “cancellation after the meeting time.” In this case, applicable cancellation fees will be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy.
6. Limitation of YT’s Liability
Customers undertake all activities at their own risk. Any liability of YT has limited to the Tour fees as well as any direct damages caused willfully or by gross negligence by YT. While YT prioritize the safety of our customers during Tour, YT shall not be held liable for any damages incurred by customers due to accidents that occur during the Tour. Furthermore, YT shall not be held liable for any damages caused to others by customers due to their own negligence during the Tour.
The Tour fee does not include insurance coverage for the tour. Customers are strongly recommended to obtain appropriate travel insurance.
YT does not assume any liability for the disappearance of personal items, cash, valuables, luggage, photographic equipment, etc. as well as loss, theft, damage or misuse of checks and credit cards.
